Taylor Harwood-Bellis is finalising a move to Anderlecht.
The Manchester City defender spent the final months of last season on loan at Ewood Park, and the 19-year-old had expressed an interest in returning to Rovers should the opportunity allow.
He made 19 appearances for Rovers after signing on loan on deadline day and impressed, particularly in the latter stages of his stay.
However, Anderlecht, managed by City legend Vincent Kompany, have won the race for his signature, with the details of a season-long loan stay being tied up.
Harwood-Bellis has flown to Belgium and is in the process of finalising his move where he will link-up with Kompany. Anderlecht finished third in the 2020/21 regular season.
It will be a second spell away from the Etihad for Harwood-Bellis who is highly-rated by City and under contract until 2024.
