Burnley will open the new Premier League season at home to Brighton on Saturday, August 14.

The new fixtures were confirmed on Wednesday morning with the Clarets then handed a tasty first away trip at Anfield against Liverpool on August 21.

After the first cup action of the season in the Carabao Cup, Sean Dyche’s side then close out August at home to Leeds.

Newly-promoted Norwich and Brentford are visitors to Turf Moor early in the campaign, on October 2 and October 30 respectively.

Festive fixtures see the Clarets host Everton on Boxing Day, head to Old Trafford to face Manchester United two days later and then visit Leeds for the return fixture at Elland Road on New Year’s Day.

Dyche’s men are at West Ham on Easter weekend, the game currently pencilled in for Saturday, April 16.

The campaign ends with a home game against Newcastle on May 22.

All dates are subject to change depending on any TV broadcasts.
