Rovers have left the EFL’s iFollow digital platform and will bring their content in house under the banner of RoversTV.

It comes as the club moves away from EFL-based products with a redesigned website having been launched earlier this month.

Streaming and video services will be integrated into the Rovers app, with details of monthly and annual subscriptions to be launched in due course, though supporters will be able to access all content in June for free.

The club are yet to receive any details as to whether the EFL will continue to allow matches to be streamed live next season, with Rovers having used the iFollow platform to allow supporters to watch the action live with the 2020/21 campaign having been played behind closed doors.

Stream AMG will be the providers, rather than the iFollow platform, moving forward, with highlights, interviews and behind-the-scenes videos available currently.

The club have also teamed up with Urban Zoo to redesign their web pages and move away from the EFL template.

CEO Steve Waggott said: “The past 18 months have been tough to navigate for the club, however, we were determined to push ahead on all fronts to improve our fan experience.

“Our digital offering has never been more important, we are delighted to be working with Urban Zoo and Stream AMG to build and improve our online platforms to offer supporters a better experience and a closer connection to the club.”
