BURNLEY target Jonjoe Kenny is set to make a transfer deadline day switch to Celtic.

The Everton right-back is expected to make the move to Parkhead on loan until the end of the season.

According to reports, the Clarets and Everton could not agree a fee for the 23-year-old who is valued at £10million by the Toffees.

Kenny spent last season on loan in Germany with Schalke.

The Clarets are also reported to have not met Stoke’s valuation for rising star Nathan Collins, the 19-year-old impressing at the heart of the Potters defence.

Like Kenny, his club are looking for an eight-figure offer, which Burnley have not stretched to.

“I don’t envisage Nathan leaving Stoke in the near future. It would take a big number for us to do that,” Collins’ manager Michael O’Neill said.

“He’s a developing player. At this point in his career he’s a starting player in our team and he wants to continue to build up a number of games that he’s playing. He doesn’t want, possibly, to leave and be part of someone’s squad as opposed to where he is at this minute in time.

“We have him on a long-term contract and the club has no desire to sell him. It would take a number much greater than the number I’ve seen bandied about.”

On the outgoing front, both Watford and Bournemouth have been linked with moves for Matej Vydra who started the defeat at Chelsea on Sunday.

The Clarets would however want to bring another striker in if the Czech frontman was to leave.

Burnley are interested in Bournemouth's Josh King but he looks increasingly likely to see out his contract and leave the Cherries on a free transfer at the end of the season.
