Rovers have seen two more of their fixtures moved for Sky Sports coverage.

The home game with Preston North End has been brought forward to Friday, February 12 (7.45pm) to be shown live on television.

The game at Reading on Tuesday, March 2 will also be shown live and while that isn’t a change of date, there is a change of kick-off time, reverting back to 8pm.

Rovers are already on Sky Sports this weekend against Middlesbrough, with the Riverside clash having been moved to Sunday, January 24 (3pm) to be shown live by the broadcaster.

Tony Mowbray’s side will be quickly back infront of the cameras with the home game with Preston brought forward, the first time Rovers will have been the Friday night fixture since promotion back to the Championship.

The game at Reading means it will be three times in six weeks shown live on Sky Sports for Rovers.

Mowbray’s men were comprehensive 3-0 winners at Deepdale in November and will be looking to do the double over North End for the first time since 2000/01.

Meanwhile, Rovers were beaten 4-2 by Reading in October but will be aiming for back-to-back victories at the Madejski Stadium having won on their last visit in September 2019.

Rovers will also have to reschedule their home fixture with Swansea City which was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch on Tuesday.
