ASTON Villa are interested in signing Bournemouth star David Brooks in the January transfer window.
The Wales midfielder, 23, is a key member of the Cherries’ squad as they look to make an immediate return to the Premier League this season.
He has scored three goals and provided five assists in 17 appearances with Bournemouth in third place after 23 games.
Brooks, along with teammate Junior Stanislas, were both heavily linked with moves to the Premier League in the summer and Cherries boss, Jason Tindall, will be keen to rebuff any offers for his key players.
NEWCASTLE are showing interest in two Championship players – Huddersfield’s Lewis O’Brien and Middlesbrough wing-back Djed Spence.
