CARDIFF City utility man Callum Paterson is on his way to Sheffield Wednesday for a fee believed to be in the region of £500,000.

The Scottish international joined the Bluebirds from Hearts in 2017 as a right back but has been deployed in a more attacking role and has scored 19 goals during his time in the Welsh capital.

However with City signing Kieffer Moore from Wigan, Paterson has struggled for game time this season and was left out of the squad for Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Reading.
