BOLTON Cricket League sides are back in action hoping to see more action than on the opening weekend of their delayed season.
While an evening of Dixon Air Conditioning T20 games did go ahead, there was a complete washout of Premier Division and Association fixtures last Saturday.
This weekend’s weather is changeable again meaning all will be keeping their fingers crossed having waited so long to get the campaign under way.
Tonight, Kearsley and Heaton meet in the shorter format having both won their opening games, the same going for Little Lever and Golborne.
Horwich, against Blackrod, and Westhoughton, who host Lostock, will also be looking to back up their opening victories in the competition.
Saturday then sees attentions turn to league action with defending Premier Division champions Walkden on the road at Farnworth Social Circle.
