Blackburn Rovers v Leeds United: Tomorrow, 3pm, Ewood Park

KEY BATTLE

Jack Harrison has been an influential figure for Leeds United this season in his 43 appearances, and scored in the reverse fixture. His battle with Rovers full back Ryan Nyambe will be one to watch.

LAST MEETING

All three goals came in the space of 10 first half minutes as Leeds edged the Elland Road meeting 2-1. Patrick Bamford scored a hotly disputed penalty, after Tosin Adarabioyo was adjudged to have tripped Luke Ayling before Harrison added a second. Derrick Williams reduced the arrears with a header from a corner five minutes before half-time, but the hosts proved too strong and held out for all three points.

MAN IN THE MIDDLE

Robert Jones – Is yet to show a red card in his 29 games, but has handed out 96 yellows in his 29 matches. Will be his fifth Leeds match of the season, and third for Rovers, which have included the 1-0 win at Hull in August and the Boxing Day draw with Birmingham where he awarded two penalties.

TEAM NEWS

Rovers will welcome back Darragh Lenihan from the side which lost at Barnsley in midweek, while John Buckley will return after his three match ban.

However, Ben Brereton will start his suspension of the same length after his red card at Oakwell, and Lewis Travis (knee) is in a race to be fit.

Tony Mowbray doesn’t expect any of the other players that missed the Barnsley defeat to return.

Meanwhile, Leeds United expect to be without Stuart Dallas for the trip to Rovers and captain Liam Cooper is an injury doubt.

The pair limped out off the midweek draw with Luton where Northern Ireland international Dallas scored the equalising goal.

Cooper was forced off in the first half, with Dallas replaced in the second half, meaning boss Marcelo Bielsa could be forced in to a re-shuffle at the back.
