Barnsley v Blackburn Rovers – Oakwell, tonight 6pm

A CLEAN sheet would be a welcome boost for Rovers, after going four games without one, but standing in their way is Barnsley’s 15-goal frontman Cauley Woodrow who netted when the sides met at Ewood.

THE dissenting voices were starting to grow around the terraces, as bottom side Barnsley twice equalised, only for Bradley Dack to come up with an 86th minute winner and ease some of the pressure on manager Tony Mowbray.

Tony Harrington – 79 yellow cards and four reds in 30 games this season, but didn’t spot the incident which has since earned Fulham striker Aleksandr Mitrovic a retrospective ban. Took charge of Rovers’ defeats to West Brom and Fulham this season.

The hosts could return to their diamond formation, hinted by boss Gerhard Struber, which could earn a recall for Conor Chaplin.

Rovers could be without Lewis Travis, but top scorer Adam Armstrong is expected to return to the starting line-up.
