All you need to know ahead of Rovers v Bristol City at Ewood Park (3pm).

ONE TO WATCH

THINGS were a little feisty on the touchline when the two sides last met with Lee Johnson throwing a football at the Rovers dugout after a dispute of playing being stopped. We’ll be able to hear most things said in the dugouts, and all eyes could well be on the touchline.

LAST TIME OUT

ROVERS made six changes, but produced one of their best away performances of the season at Ashton Gate in December. They led early through a Bradley Johnson strike before Adam Armstrong came off the bench to wrap things up late on. That made it 16 points from a possible 18 available as Rovers moved withing touching distance of the top six.

MAN IN THE MIDDLE

Oliver Langford – His last Rovers game was the 2-1 FA Cup defeat at Birmingham City in January. His last visit to Ewood was for the 1-0 home win over Derby in December. Has handed out 108 yellow cards, and four reds, in his 27 matches.

PREDICTED TEAMS

Rovers: Christian Walton, Ryan Nyambe, Darragh Lenihan, Tosin Adarabioyo, Charlie Mulgrew, Lewis Travis, Corry Evans, Sam Gallagher, Lewis Holtby, Stewart Downing, Adam Armstrong

Bristol City: Nikki Maenpaa, Pedro Pereira, Jay Dasilva, Tomas Kalas, Nathan Baker, Korey Smith, Jamie Paterson, Callum O’Dowda, Han-Noah Massengo, Benik Afobe, Nahki Wells

WHAT'S THE ODDS?

ROVERS are 6/5 to mark their return to Championship action with victory at Ewood, which would see them leapfrog Bristol City who arrive as a 23/10 shot. The draw is the same price. Adam Armstrong scored when the sides last met, and is 7/2 to open the scoring.
