Rovers’ home game with Leeds United has been moved for Sky Sports coverage.

The game at Ewood Park will now be played on Friday, April 3 (7.45pm) so to be screened live.

The fixture has been brought forward from the Saturday afternoon and will be one of two Championship games moved that weekend, with Derby v Nottingham Forest to be shown on Saturday, April 4 (12.30pm).

Leeds won the reverse fixture at Elland Road 2-1 in November, but by the same scoreline in October last season, Rovers beat Marcelo Bielsa's side at Ewood Park.

Bielsa's men are currently second in the Championship, chasing a return to the Premier League automatically after missing out in the play-offs last term, with Rovers battling for a top six finish.

Rovers have four home games to come, the next of which will be Bristol City on March 14. They also host leaders West Brom on April 13 and then Reading on April 25, with a four game ticket deal introduced for the remaining Ewood quartet of games.

This will be Rovers' fifth televised game of the season. They won 1-0 at Hull in August, drew 2-2 with Huddersfield in October, 0-0 with Wigan in December and 2-2 with Brentford last month.
