Rovers' Premier League Cup tie with Burnley, scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at Morecambe, has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
The two sides were set to meet at the Globe Arena on Thursday afternoon (1pm), but the game has now been called off.
A new date will be confirmed in due course.
Rovers are already through to the knockout stages after winning four of their five group matches so far.
They won the reverse fixture at Ewood Park 2-1 with Dominic Samuel and Jacob Davenport on target for Rovers, with Rob Harker pulling one back for the visitors late on.
Burnley have one won, drawn two and lost two of their five matches so far meaning they can’t now reach the knockout stages.
The two sides could be on course to meet in the Lancashire Senior Cup final once again. Billy Barr’s side have already made certain of their place in the Leyland final, while Burnley could meet them in a repeat of last year’s final should they get through their last four tie.
