Blackburn Rovers’ unbeaten home run ended with defeat to Fulham.

Aleksandar Mitrovic’s goal just after the hour saw Tony Mowbray’s side lose at Ewood Park for the first time since September.

It was a tough day for Rovers who struggled to trouble the visiting backline all afternoon.

Did anyone come away with some credit? See if you agree with our player ratings below.

STAR MAN: Christian Walton 7

The busiest Rovers player in the first half making a save from Michael Hector before two deflections nearly caught him out from Ryan Nyambe and Bradley Johnson. Then had to be equal to a Tom Cairney effort before being beaten by Mitrovic. Denied Stefan Johansen one-on-one late on.

Ryan Nyambe 6

Had a tough test facing Ivan Cavaleiro and Bobby Decordova-Reid but didn’t shy away from it and got stuck in going in both directions. Took a bang in the second half but battled on.

Darragh Lenihan 6

Captain stood firm in the first half with a couple of key interceptions. Had the ball in the net late in the piece but was flagged offside, seemingly incorrectly.

Tosin Adarabioyo 5

Robbed of possession in dangerous areas on a couple of occasions when he simply wanted too much time on the ball and then turned by Mitrovic for the goal.

Amari’I Bell 6

One run in the second half got the crowd on their feet but largely on the fringes on a day where most of his activity was of a defensive nature.

Bradley Johnson 4

Back in the side he looked short of sharpness from the opening whistle. Too ponderous in possession at times with one back header nearly catching out Walton. Subbed with 20 minutes to go.

Lewis Travis 7

In a flat game midfielder stuck to his task and tried to break play up and get Rovers going where he could.  Endured a frustrating afternoon like his team-mates though.

Sam Gallagher 5

Headed Rovers’ only real chance of the first half over but looked off the pace throughout the afternoon. Saw big chance come and go with 15 minutes to play with Marek Rodak saving well.

Joe Rankin-Costello 6

First senior start at Ewood saw him handed the No.10 role. All action but didn’t get the breaks he needed. Struggled physically at times.

Stewart Downing 6

His 600th career club start saw him back out on the left wing but struggled to get in the game in the first half before having more joy in the second. A couple of good deliveries came to nothing.

Adam Armstrong 5

Cut an isolated figure as a lone striker, not by his own doing, and then had little impact on the game when dropping off the front in the closing stages.

Danny Graham 6

On for the final 20 minutes to give Rovers more of a physical threat and saw one effort blocked.

Dominic Samuel  5

Made his first appearance since October as part of a double change but made little impact on the game, giving the ball away in a dangerous position on one occasion.

Ben Brereton N/A

Late, late replacement for Armstrong.
