DAVID Jones’ brief stint with Oldham Athletic has come to an end.
The former Burnley midfielder moved to Boundary Park at the end of November.
The 35-year-old made six appearances for Latics with his short-term deal now at an end.
“Whilst at Oldham on a short-term deal, that has now expired, he offered a wealth of experience to the team and was a model professional but was not in the plans for the first team going forward,” an Oldham statement read.
“The club would like to wish David the very best of luck in his future career.”
