ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman expressed his delight at seeing Billy Kee at the Pirelli Stadium when the Reds drew with Burton Albion.
Kee has been absent for Coleman's side all season due to ongoing issues with his mental health.
The Stanley boss reiterated his support for Kee and hopes to see him at the Wham Stadium soon.
"We knew he was going to come today, and it was good to see him," said Coleman after Stanley's draw at Burton.
"He wants what's best for the club and the players and wants to support us."I'm sure we'll see him at the Wham Stadium soon
and the fans can give him the plaudits he deserves."
Kee's health is the most important thing, not whether or when he will pull on a Stanley shirt again according to Coleman.
"It's an ongoing process. Billy's health has to be paramount. That's got to come first," added the Reds boss.
"We like Billy as a lad before we like him as a footballer. He's a great character and a great personality and the fans love him for what he's done for the club.
"If we don't see him again (as a player) I'll certainly miss him, but I know I’ll certainly hear from him a lot because he is very loud when he gets going!"
