BURNLEY do not have to be worried about being tormented by Christian Pulisic for a second time this season after he was ruled out of Saturday’s game at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s America star, who scored a hat-trick in the Blues’ 4-2 win at Turf Moor in October, has suffered a “nasty” adductor injury.

"Pulisic will be out for a few weeks," said boss Frank Lampard Lampard.

"He was injured in training the day before Nottingham Forest, it's an injury to his adductor, a tendon injury.

"It's disappointing for us. We'll have to see how quickly he recovers as it's a nasty injury, he was in pain at the time."

Pulisic scored a perfect-hat-trick in East Lancashire - left foot, right foot and a header – as he punished defensive mistakes in the first half before heading in Mason Mount’s cross early in the second.

The 21-year-old was a £58 million arrival from Borussia Dortmund and has scored six goals in all this season.
