ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman was delighted with the way his side controlled the action in the 2-0 win over Burton Albion.
Stanley took the lead through Sean McConville before Ross Sykes secured the points in the second half.
The Reds are now seven games unbeaten as they welcome Rochdale to the Wham Stadium on New Year's Day.
"I'm very happy with the two clean sheets because it doesn't happen very often," said Coleman.
"I thought we were excellent at the back and we deserved the clean sheet.
"They had a chance in the first half when their lef back was free in the box, but Ross Sykes has made up 25 yards and slid in.
"He's made him panic and rush his effort. That's the sort of hardwork that has got us to where we are right now.
"It's very pleasing to see as these players have run themselves into the gorund once again."
