Burnley boss Sean Dyche has injury concerns over Chris Wood and Ashley Westwood ahead of the trip to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Wood is carrying a knock on his Achilles while Westwood has a tight groin, both not training on Thursday.
They will be assessed ahead of the weekend, as will Ben Gibson who was pulled out of the squad for the Newcastle game during the warm-up due to a groin issue.
“Ben was unfortunate,” said boss Sean Dyche at his pre-match press conference.
“He had a niggly groin last Friday and we had to pull him out and we’ve got to make sure that’s settled.
“While I don’t think it’s serious or anything like that, he’s a doubt for selection at the weekend.”
Charlie Taylor has trained this week after his hamstring injury and could return to the side. Kevin Long has also been back with the squad after an issue with his hip.
Johann Berg Gudmundsson has continued his recovery from his own hamstring injury, playing 60 minutes in a reserve game this week.
Dyche hopes the Icelandic winger will now be able to play 90 minutes for the Under-23s against Birmingham on Saturday.
