Tony Mowbray has missed out on the Championship’s manager of the month prize for November.
Instead, Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has claimed the award after leading his side to five wins from five matches.
That included a 2-1 win over Rovers on November 9 which proved to be the only defeat that Mowbray’s side endured in the month.
Rovers took 12 points from five games, with wins over Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Brentford and Stoke City.
But Leeds managed 15 from their five games, seeing off QPR, Rovers, Luton, Reading and Middlesbrough.
West Brom boss Slaven Bilic was also in the running, having enjoyed a 100 per cent record last month, but the Baggies only played four matches in all.
Fulham’s Scott Parker completed the shortlist, matching Rovers’ haul of four wins from five games.
The panel said of Bielsa: “A perfect November for his side with five wins out of five as Leeds moved ominously to the top of the Championship table by month’s end. The fitness and pressing game he demands helped secure an impressive 11-2 goal differential.”
Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen won the November player prize.
