Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope has been handed his first England start for the Euro 2020 qualifier in Kosovo.
It will be the 27-year-old’s second cap, his first having come in a World Cup warm-up friendly against Costa Rica in June 2018.
Gareth Southgate has elected to rotate his squad for the final qualifier with the Three Lions’ spot at the finals confirmed with the 7-0 win over Montenegro at Wembley on Thursday night.
Pope has been given the nod with Everton’s Jordan Pickford rested, the game set to give the Clarets shot-stopper some more international experience ahead of a likely place in the squad for the finals next summer.
