The Clarets got back to winning ways with a convincing 3-0 win over West Ham United at Turf Moor.

Here’s how Sean Dyche’s men rated…

Nick Pope – 7

Didn’t have much to do apart from deal with a couple of efforts straight at him. Kept his focus and will have been pleased with an easier afternoon given how over-worked he’s been in the last three matches.

Phil Bardsley – 7

A solid display from the returning right back. Good positionally on the rare occasions he needed to defend an drew a good save from Roberto with a drive from outside the box.

James Tarkowski – 7

Both Tarkowski and Mee dealt comfortably with the odd foray forward from West Ham and looked much more comfortable in and out of possession.

Ben Mee – 7

A fairly routine afternoon at the office. Won the vast majority of the aerial battles with Haller and didn’t give the big money signing a sniff. Unlucky to be booked.

Charlie Taylor – 8

Fans had called for the return of the former Leeds United man and it is easy to see why. Worked well with McNeil down the right and looked to get the Clarets on the front foot.

Jeff Hendrick – 7

Went about his business with steady efficiency. Danced past West Ham players a couple of times and provided good link-up play between midfield and attack.

Jack Cork – 7

It’s fair to say he hasn’t been at his best the last couple of matches but he was near to that against the Hammers. Job made easier once Noble departed but worked hard to keep Burnley ticking over.

Ashley Westwood – 7

He’ll want to claim the Clarets third goal but might have to settle for knowing his tireless running helped his side bag three points. Booked for challenge on Lanzini which saw West Ham man stretchered off with a shoulder injury.

STAR MAN: Dwight McNeil – 9

An absolute masterclass from the young winger. Had a hand in two of the Burnley goals and unlucky not to get a third assist when VAR ruled out the Wood header.

Ashley Barnes – 7

Celebrated signing a new contract with a goal. Was in the perfect position to stab home and wouldn’t let the West Ham defence settle.

Chris Wood – 8

Scored on his return to the side and probably should have had a couple more. Unlucky to see one chalked off by VAR and then saw Roberto stop him a couple of times.

Jay Rodriguez – 6

Came on for Barnes with the game won. Tracked back to help out defensively but didn’t get much in the way of a chance.

Robbie Brady – 5

Not on long enough to make his mark.
