The poppy shirts worn by the Rovers players for the Remembrance Day fixture against Sheffield Wednesday are available to bid for on an online auction.

Late goals from Tosin Adarabioyo and John Buckley saw Rovers come from behind to earn their first win in seven matches after Jacob Murphy had put the visitors ahead.

Matchworn shirts from each player will now be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to The Royal British Legion

The auction closes on Wednesday at 3pm.

All bids made are inclusive of worldwide secured shipping and payment handling fees. To place your bid, visit https://matchwornshirt.com/club/62

Ex-service personnel and representatives of The Queen’s Lancashire Regiment Veterans Charity and the Royal British Legion were special guests of the club and led the pre-match tributes.

As a mark of respect, both teams laid wreaths in the centre circle and a minute’s silence was observed before the playing of The Last Post.

Meanwhile, supporters are invited to attend Rovers’ Remembrance Day tribute at Ewood Park on Monday, November 11.

Club chaplain Ken Howles will conduct a short service outside the Rovers Remember memorial, at the corner of the Jack Walker and Darwen End stands, followed by a minute’s silence at 11am.
