A defensive horror show saw Rovers well beaten at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Below we rate the players on a day to forget for Tony Mowbray and his squad

Christian Walton 6

Nothing he could do about the goals as he was left horribly exposed in West London.

Elliott Bennett 5

The opening goal came down his side and found life tough against Ebere Eze, the game’s best player. Did set up goal for Armstrong.

Darragh Lenihan 4

Pulled here and there, the Irishman was booked for a foul on Wells when he needed too much time on the ball and couldn’t prevent Osayi-Samuel scoring the third. Went off injured after 66 minutes.

Derrick Williams 4

A couple of sloppy moments with the ball at his feet, then woefully soft challenge allowed Eze to score the second before being outjumped by Hugill for the fourth.

Greg Cunningham

No mark as he was only on the field 17 minutes before going off with what appeared to be a knee problem.

Corry Evans 5

Recalled to the side he was booked early on for a lunge on Wells and didn’t provide enough protection to the back four. Dropped into a back three for a spell in the second half.

Stewart Downing 6

Tried to keep Rovers ticking over but didn’t have the influence on the game he would have liked from a central role.

Adam Armstrong 6

Outlet in the first half but lacked end product when in good positions. Let his man go for cross that led to the first goal but did at least grab a 50th career goal on his 200th appearance late on.

Bradley Dack 6

Far from in full flight as he looked for success off the front but won and converted penalty that should have handed Rovers a way back into the game.

Joe Rothwell 5

Neat and tidy on ball at times but in just his second Championship start of the season flitted in and out of the game.

Danny Graham 5

An almost anonymous figure in the first-half, arguably because of a lack of service. Striker was hooked at the break.

Amari’i Bell 5

On for Cunningham early in the piece for his first appearance since August but beaten by Osayi-Samuel in build-up to opening goal. Booked in the second half.

Lewis Holtby 6

Busy on his arrival at the break and nearly laid on a goal for Williams who was offside when converting. Faded as things unravelled.

Tosin Adarabioyo 6

Not an easy defence to come into for loanee. Replacing Lenihan for final quarter he nearly connected with a Bell cross late on.
