Rovers Ladies have agreed a deal that will see them continue to play at Bamber Bridge for at least the next two seasons.

During their time at The Sir Tom Finney Stadium, Rovers have won three successive league titles and will next season be plying their trade in the FA Women’s Championship.

The club had their promotion confirmed last week, and have now secured a stadium agreement with the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division outfit

Rovers rounded off their season with victory over Guiseley Vixens at Bamber Bridge which sets them up nicely for this weekend’s play-off final against southern division champions Coventry United.

A delighted boss Gemma Donnelly said: “I’m pleased that we were able to play our final league game of the season against Guiseley at our home venue, which we have secured for the next two seasons.

“I wish to place on record my thanks to Bamber Bridge for providing an excellent provision over the last few years and one that we definitely can home.

“I look forward to returning for next season and continuing to work with Bamber Bridge to drive our attendances and increase spectators at this excellent stadium.”
