NOTTINGHAM FOREST - 1

ROVERS - 2

DANNY Graham's 150th career goal was the all-important winner as Rovers secured their first back-to-back wins since January.

Joe Rothwell opened the scoring with a brilliant, curling effort before Ryan Yates made things nervy for Tony Mowbray's side.

The home side had a chance as soon as the second minute as Matty Cash's free kick dropped loose in the box.

Molla Wague ran on to the loose ball and the Rovers defence got a key block in to prevent a certain goal.

Rovers' first chance of the game came as Graham held the ball up well in the box to set up the onrushing Elliott Bennett.

His shot was deflected wide of the post. From the corner, Derrick Williams rose highest to have his header cleared off the line by Jack Colback.

The ball found its way to Rothwell on the corner of the 18-yard box and he curled a beauty in to the far, top corner.

There was a let off for David Raya as he spilled a simple, low ball in to the box - Lewis Travis came to his rescue with a brave block from Ryan Yates' strike.

Four minutes after the restart, Graham notched his 150th career goal as he doubled Blackburn's lead.

A low ball was played in to the box - Bradley Dack couldn't make contact - the big striker was there to finish from close range.

Minutes later, up the other end, Forest pulled one back through Yates as Raya came for a high cross, but completely missed it. The ball then fumbled in to the back of the net.

With 65 minutes gone, Dack had the chance to warp the game up as he won possession on the edge of the Forest box.

Costel Pantilimon saved when one-on-one and then Dack's follow-up effort came back off the bar.
