ROVERS have completed the permanent signing of Harry Chapman on a permanent deal from Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a two and a half year contract.
Rovers were given permission to speak to the winger over the weekend and he returns to the club for a second spell.
The youngster became a fan favourite at Ewood Park during his loan spell at the club last season when he made 16 appearances.
Ewood boss Tony Mowbray revealed in the wake of Saturday's 3-0 Championship success over Hull City on Saturday that Chapman could immediately depart on loan in a bid to gain match fitness.
The wideman was out of contract in the summer at the Riverside Stadium and has made five appearances for Tony Pulis’ men this season.
He suffered two separate hamstring injuries during his time in East Lancashire last term and suffered a similar problem in pre-season but is now fully fit.
