Rovers have made three changes for the visit of Ipswich Town.
Jack Rodwell returns to fitness to take his place in the heart of the Rovers defece after missing the Newcastle FA Cup replay through illness.
Bradley Dack has also shaken off a slight illness to return to the starting line-up, with Corry Evans returning from an ankle injury to start.
The three players to drop out are Richie Smallwood, Ben Brereton and Ryan Nyambe, all who are on the bench.
Dan Butterworth and Joe Grayson drop out of the matchday squad to allow for the returns of Rodwell and Evans.
Lewis Travis keeps his place in the side, starting for a sixth consecutive match.
