BARNOLDSWICK manager Matt Barnes is hoping his side will make it 10 wins in a row when they host Hanley Town tomorrow.

Barnes' side are currently in fifth position, but with their games in hand, have the top three in their sights.

Barlick are in the semi final of the County Cup and the quarter final of the Macron Cup, Barnes hopes he can bring some silverware to the club.

"The target for the second half of the season is to reach third place and to hold our own in that position," said Barnes.

"Obviously if we reach third, we'll be looking to catch the two teams above us, we always strive to improve."

Barnoldswick have won their previous nine matches, Barnes insists this is due to the team spirit his squad have.

"We've had a settled team to choose from during this good run of form, that is always a big help.

"They all know what I expect of them on the pitch and so far this season, they've stuck to that.

"I told the lad's after the last game that this squad has the best morale and team spirit I've ever been involved in.

"We all get on and look after each other which is a massive reason as to why we are where we are."

The Barlick manager is targetting a trophy this season.

"At the start of the season the goal was to finish in the top six and maybe get to a final.

"We're currently fifth and in a semi final and a quarter final so we're well on course for that."

On Saturday, Hanley Town visit the Silentnight Stadium and despite them being in the drop zone, Barnes isn't taking them for granted.

"We can't underestimate them, they've just changed their manager and that can change a lot of things.

"Look at Manchester United, everything can change, they might not have got on with the previous manager - you never know what happened.

"They'll want to prove their worth to the new manager, we won't be underestimating them that's for sure."

Elsewhere in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division, Padiham have no game.

In the HSL First Division, 14th place Nelson travel to 5th place AFC Liverpool, seventh place Darwen visit Chadderton, in 13th, and eighth place Bacup make the trip to Garstang, who're in 12th place.

In the Evo Stik West, 16th place Clitheroe travel to Colwyn Bay, who are 10th, and seventh place Ramsbottom host Leek Town, who are fifth in the table. Colne have no game this weekend.
