Rovers reporter Rich Sharpe hands out his player ratings after the 2-2 draw with Birmingham City.

David Raya 5

Had looked nervy under the high ball in the first half before bringing down Colin in the second for the penalty.

Ryan Nyambe 6

Caught out for Birmingham’s second goal when the ball was slipped inside of him, but that was a rare error on a decent showing.

Darragh Lenihan 6

Lucky to escape a booking after several fouls on Adams, but dealt well under the high ball. Couldn’t stop Jutkiewicz’s cross reaching Adams for the equaliser. Survived first half penalty appeals for handball.

Charlie Mulgrew 7

Was patient with his use of the ball, and generally well placed to put in a number of clearances, but it was from his outstretched attempted clearance which led to the penalty. Fortunate to escape with just a free kick when tripped Che Adams early on.

Amari’i Bell 6

A little casual on the ball, and given trouble by Mahoney and then Jota, after his recall to the side.

Richie Smallwood 6

Looked short of confidence in the first half after misplacing several paces, but better after the break, when almost claiming an assist for Reed.

Corry Evans 7

Kept things simple in difficult conditions and kept coming deep to receive the ball in the first half. Saw one effort fly over the bar.

Harrison Reed 7

Claimed an assist for Graham’s opener, and saw an effort brilliantly saved by Camp in the second. Was busy throughout.

Bradley Dack 7

Picked up some good positions in the first half when he saw a shot flash wide. Claimed an assist for Armstrong’s second half strike.

Craig Conway 5

Started a third consecutive game, but lasted just 18 minutes as he came off with a thigh injury.

Danny Graham 7 (MAN OF THE MATCH)

Moved to five goals in five games with a first half header and led the line well throughout. Proved a good target at the head of the attack, and almost did his fair share of defending from set pieces. Rovers look a much more secure side all round with him on the pitch.

Subs

Adam Armstrong (for Conway, 18) 6

Took his goal well in the second half, but in the swirling wind, Rovers struggled to get him in behind on too many occasions.

Ben Brereton (for Graham, 70) 5

Looked a little lost in a central striking role. Fired wide from Reed’s cross late on, but was offside when doing so.

Unused: Jayson Leutwiler, Paul Downing, Derrick Williams, Joe Rothwell, Kasey Palmer
