BURNLEY host Newcastle in a crunch game down at the bottom of the Premier League.

The Clarets come in to the game in 15th with Newcastle just one place above them.

Burnley's opponents come in to this game on the back of two wins while Sean Dyche's men are without a win in five games.

We spoke to Newcastle fan @Malr54Reid ahead of their trip to Turf Moor.

Are things looking a bit brighter recently after your back to back wins?

Yes, although we're not getting carried away. The two home wins were very much needed but we need more results like that.

Have Burnley's struggles this season shocked you?

Not really, last season they shocked everyone by finishing seventh. I think Dyche had them playing in a certain way that suited them and that the rest of the league found it hard to adapt to.

They were tight at the back and then they had powerful men up front. This season they haven't been the same, the defence has been all over the place from what I've seen and they aren't scoring enough goals.

Like us, they didn't strengthen enough in the summer and now they're paying for that.

How is Rafa Benitez getting on?

Last season he did great to keep us in the league, this season that might be a tougher task as the teams around us bought players in the summer.

We don't concede a lot of goals but we also struggle to score. If we can sort that out then I think we'll be okay.

How vital is Monday night's game?

It's massive for both teams. A win for either would lift them further away from the drop zone going in to an important stage of the season. A win for us would make it three in a row and our first away win of the season.

To do it against one of our relegation rivals would also be good.

Who is the player Burnley most have to look out for?

I'd say Rondon. He scored both our goals in the win against Bournemouth so he'll be full of confidence.

Finally, what is your prediction for the game?

I think all three points will be coming back to the Toon thanks to a Rondon goal in a 1-0 win.
