SCOTT Brown is suspended for Saturday's trip to Rochdale as he serves a one-match ban for accumulated bookings.

The midfielder has struggled for game time this season, having to settle largely for appearances off the bench in League Two. But he remains a key member of John Coleman's squad.

"Scotty is suspended for the weekend so that will be a blow for us," said the Stanley boss, who otherwise has an almost fully fit squad to choose from for the short trip to Spotland.

"There are one or two bumps and bruises.

"Andy Mangan's just getting back to fitness and Harvey Rodgers is now back in full training so that's a boost for us as well.

"We've got to get back to playing the football I know we can play."

Stanley go into the game having slipped to 10th on goal difference following last weekend's 2-0 defeat at home to Barnsley, but are level on points with sixth placed Charlton.

And former Rochdale boss Coleman is expecting an entertaining contest on his return to his old club.

"They play good football, Rochdale. They're a very attacking team, commit men forward. They've had a mixed bag of results over the season I suppose but they're always a threat," he said.

"I think it will be a good, entertaining game."
