Corry Evans will face a one game suspension after picking up a yellow card in Saturday’s game against QPR.

The Northern Ireland international will miss Rovers game against Rotherham at Ewood Park this weekend.

Darragh Lenihan and Elliott Bennett are both one card away from suspension, while Harrison Reed and Richie Smallwood are two cards away.

The amnesty for five yellow cards, and a subsequent one match ban, ends on November 30, before extending to 10 yellow cards, which if received before the second Sunday in March would result in a two match ban.

Rovers play three games between now and the first amnesty, following Saturday's home match with Rotherham with trips to north west rivals Preston and Wigan.

Meanwhile, Rotherham will be without influential midfielder Will Vaulks due to suspension, he picked up his fifth booking during their win over Swansea.

Boss Tony Mowbray will have a decision to make on who he replaces Evans with against the Millers.

One option could be to move Southampton loanee Reed in to a central area, having been used out wide against QPR.

Jack Rodwell and fit-again Jacob Davenport also represent a central midfield option for the Rovers boss.
