STANLEY boss John Coleman admits Sean McConville will be a big miss for the Reds at Coventry City on Saturday but believes his side can cope without the wideman.

The winger is banned after picking up five yellow cards but Jordan Clark is back from his own suspension and is set to come back in with Piero Mingoia likely to keep his place on the opposite flank, although Coleman also hinted there could be a formation tweak for the trip to the Midlands.

"We have Piero who can slot in and that helps and we have a decision to make whether we go with that or change the system which is always an option as well," said Coleman.

McConville has scored six times this season and is level at the top of Stanley's scoring charts with Billy Kee, but Coleman points to last season's win at the Ricoh Arena as evidence that his side can cope without the wideman.

He added: "We will miss him because he is a talent and a talisman, when he scores we generally win but we didn't have him last year at Coventry and won."
