BURNLEY maintained their recent good form with a hard fought 33-15 win over Lancashire League Division One leaders, North Manchester.
Burnley dominated possession and territory but found the visitors well organised and physical defence a tough nut to crack.
Dom Murphy went over from a scrum followed by Ricardo Ferdenzi.
Luca Angelone crashed over with Rick Griffiths and James Redford adding a conversion apiece as Burnley opened up a 19-0 lead at the break.
It looked good for Burnley as Danny Rowland went over followed Rick Griffiths. But the visitors dominated the last quarter with three tries to give a more respectable score line and a reward for their defensive duties.
