Marcelo Bielsa is wary of Rovers’ experience, as well as their ‘individual skills’ ahead of the Ewood Park meeting.

The Leeds boss has seen his side win three and draw three of their opening six Championship away matches.

And his chances of adding to that run have been boosted by the return of a number of key figures.

But the Argentinian, whose side sit third in the table, believes Rovers could pose a danger to that record.

He said: “Blackburn are an opponent with experience and it won’t be easy to play against them.

“They have a good balance between individual skills and being competitive.”

Leeds could welcome back joint top scorer Kemar Roofe from injury having been without the former Oxford striker since August.

Defender Gaetano Berardi and midfielder Pablo Hernandez have also overcome injuries and are set to be involved tomorrow, but full backs Luke Ayling and Barry Douglas, plus winger Jack Harrison remain unavailable.

On the international break, Bielsa added: “We had a group of players who needed to get some rest, the other group needed the opposite thing and the third group were the international players which we now have back with us.

“We always seem to have an average of four or five players missing, but the three players coming back are important for us.”
