CLARETS youth team striker Michael Fowler is joining Radcliffe FC on loan after a successful spell with Padiham.
The 17-year-old striker hit four goals in four games at the Arbories in the North West Counties League Premier Division and has done so well for Liam Smith's side that he now been recalled from his work experience loan.
Fowler, a second year scholar at Turf Moor, will now move up a level to the Evo-Stik League West Division as he spends an initial month with Radcliffe FC.
The Greater Manchester side are managed by former Manchester City striker Jon Macken. Fowler will be available for their game at Droylsden on Tuesday night.
During his time with the Storks boss Smith hailed the teenager's impact.
“He’s a great character and has fitted in superbly,” he said.
“You would never know he was only 17 because he is ready made for men's football.
“He played against us for Burnley U18s and tore us apart to be honest so we knew all about him.
“I think there is more to come from him.”
