Charlie Mulgrew will be hoping to win cap number 39 when Scotland travel to Israel in their second Nations League group game.

Scotland, winners over Albania last time out, will aim to make it two from two when they face Israel on Thursday, October 11 (7.45pm).

Mulgrew has become a regular for his country of late, starting last month’s games against Belgium and Albania.

The 32-year-old, who made his first start for Rovers in a month against Bolton on Saturday, is expected to play after shaking off a groin problem.

Alex McLeish’s men are also in action on Sunday, October 14 (5pm) when they host Portugal in a friendly.
