Tony Mowbray says Ryan Nyambe is the only doubt for Rovers ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Bolton.
The Rovers boss also highlighted the unnecessary need of risking a player returning from injury when the international break is approaching.
Nyambe picked up a hamstring injury in the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest last weekend which saw him miss the midweek defeat to Sheffield United.
“We pick each team on its merit for the next game,” the boss said.
“Think we’ve only got Nyambe really who I would class as a doubt for this game.
“Why would we take a chance on a player with a slight hamstring strain when he’s got two weeks to get fully fit?
“Why would we put him in and then potentially lose him for six to eight weeks? I don’t think we need to take chances on players.
“The conundrum is how positive we pick a team, how hard working a team we pick.
“Are we going to compete physically with them or are we going to play a lot of artistic players who can give them more problems with the ball? We’ll pick the team and see how we get on.”
