ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman has been nominated for the League One manager of the month prize.
The Reds chief has overseen an unbeaten September. Coleman's men took nine points from their five games last month, drawing the first three before winning the latter two.
Coleman faces competition from Doncaster's Grant McCann, Charlton's Lee Bowyer and Portsmouth's Kenny Jackett.
No Stanley players made the player of the month shortlist which will see Portsmouth winger Jamal Lowe, Doncaster frontman John Marquis, Barnsley striker Kieffer Moore and Blackpool midfielder Jay Spearing compete for the honour.
The winners will be announced on Friday morning.
