SEAN Dyche admits he can see Neil Warnock's point after the veteran Cardiff City boss suggested he enjoyed life more in the Championship, writes Charlotte Coates.

The Bluebirds boss said last season that he always preferred managing in the Championship to the Premier League and City are yet to win this season after their promotion.

Dyche revealed that an experienced Premier League manager told him after Burnley's first promotion that your weekends were less enjoyable, with top flight wins harder to come by, but that does make them even sweeter when the arrive.

“I remember the first time we got in the Premier League, a very experienced manager said get ready for not as many nice weekends with the family," Dyche said.

“Premier League wins are harder to come by, so maybe he’s thinking of that. The Premier League puts you at a stretch. When those wins come it’s a nice feeling.”

When asked if he saw this weekend’s match as winnable, Dyche responded: “Wins are difficult to come by, they’ve had a tough start. We’ve been through that ourselves in this division.

“We focus on what we do, the clear focus on how we perform. We’ve got to earn the right again.

“There’s no easy games, every game is a big game and you have to give everything to win a game.”
