BESART Berisha is feeling optimistic about the future, despite having his first season with Burnley curtailed by a cruciate knee ligament injury.
The Albanian star's representative, Henner Janzen, said he had spoken to the 22-year-old while he was recovering from an operation to repair the damage he sustained on international duty three weeks ago.
And although he is disappointed at being ruled out for the rest of the Championship campaign - his first in English football following a £340,000 move from Hamburg in the summer - Berisha was said to be philosophical about his injury setback.
"No injury comes at a right time," said Janzen.
"It's a real pity and he is very sad, and I guess everyone in Burnley is sad also, but he will come back.
"Injuries are part of sport.
"The operation was very well done and it seems everything worked out well.
"When I spoke to him he was in quite good spirits and now he's looking forward to the future."
