After two games unbeaten, Nelson manager Terry Fildes is hoping his side have turned the corner following a dreadful start to the season.
And after several new signings, including Paul Jones, Paul Posteraro, Ryan Cross, Jamie Miller and Alex Miller, he believes they are ready to start climbing the table, starting at home to Glossop NE tomorrow.
He said: "The asset we've got at the moment is that I've got six players who are all over six feet tall and they are all big, powerful lads.
"And we've got two or three wide players who are really fast."
Nelson are likely to stick with the same side that drew against Ramsbottom on Tuesday night.
