BLACKBURN Hawks were beaten 4-2 in the NIHL North Cup by Telford Tigers on Saturday night.
There were plenty of positives for Steve Duncombe's side who twice led their much-fancied opponents before succumbing to defeat.
And the Hawks bounced back on Sunday with a 5-2 Moralee Conference victory over Whitley Bay.
