Clarets manager Steve Cotterill is anticipating a good atmosphere for his first Burnley v Blackpool derby.

"Not only do we want to be at our best, but I would imagine our support will need to be at its best as well, because otherwise it will be like an away game if they have as many fans as they've got in that away end," he said.

"It will be interesting to see how many people are here.

"We could potentially have a full house, and that would be something.

"I don't mind them having that end if we've got a full house."

Behind the scenes, Clarets officials have put plans in place to build the atmosphere well before kick-off.

Plenty of pre-match entertainment has been arranged, in the form of music, stilt walkers and face painters along Harry Potts Way, children's entertainment in the Family Stand and Family Village with a mystery guest, a spectacular live dance show on the pitch at 2.50pm, prize draws and giveaways.
