BESART Berisha has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Albanian international, who was signed by Burnley on a three year deal in the summer, has undergone cruciate ligament surgery.
Berisha has been sidelined with a knee injury since returning from international duty with Albania a fortnight ago.
Earlier scans failed to reveal the extent of the damage.
