BURNLEY-born goalkeeper Rachel Brown was beaten by two free-kicks this afternoon as England drew 2-2 against Japan in their opening match of the Women's World Cup in China.
England fell behind in the 55th minute when Aya Miyama smashed in a curling 25-yard free-kick beyond Everton stopper Brown.
But the Three Lions stormed back late on with two goals in the space of three minutes from striker Kelly Smith.
However, in the fourth minute of stoppage time in the Group A tie, Aya lashed home another free-kick into the top left-hand corner to give Japan a share of the spoils.
