ROVERS have been given an initial allocation of 700 tickets for the away leg of their UEFA Cup first round tie with Greek Cup winners Larissa FC.

The match, which will now be played at the Panthessaliko Stadium in Volos instead of Larissa's Alkazar Stadium, takes place on Thursday September 20, kick-off 6.00pm local time.

The costs of the tickets has yet to be confirmed, but they are expected to go on sale late next week.

Fans who are planning on, or have already made arrangements to travel to Greece, should download a ticket application form from Rovers' website.

Details should also be available early next week for those fans wishing to travel with the team on the corporate trip.

Meanwhile, the decision to switch venues to Volos, which is approximately 200 miles from Athens, should please Rovers supporters as the city is described as lively', with an important waterfront which is lined with many pastry shops, cafe-bars, restaurants and mezedopolia'.

l Due to Rovers' involvement in the UEFA Cup, the dates and kick-off times of two Premier League games have now been changed.

Rovers will now face Harry Redknapp's Portsmouth on Sunday September 23 (kick off 3pm), and the home game with Birmingham has also been switched to Sunday October 7 (ko 3pm).

The date for Rovers' Carling Cup third round tie with Birmingham has also been confirmed as Wednesday September 26 (kick off 8pm).
