BURNLEY Under-23s Professional Development League game against Millwall on Monday has been moved to Turf Moor with a 1pm kick-off time.

Michael Duff’s side were originally supposed to face the Lions at the Curzon Ashton’s Tameside Stadium.

The match is open to the public and season-ticket holders can gain free entry. Entry for non-season ticket holders is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Duff’s side will be looking to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat at Queens Park Rangers this week.

Ali Koiki’s deflected cross put the Clarets in front and Rob Harker slotted home a second to put Burnley in control.

But three second half goals in the space of 15 minutes turned the game on its head and saw Rangers take all three points.

The Clarets had the chance to go 3-0 up early in the second half, but Dan Agyei blazed a penalty over the bar and Duff felt that was a turning point.

“We were excellent for 60 minutes of the match until the penalty and we then dropped too deep and allowed them to come on us,” he said.

“From then on we couldn’t get up the pitch.

“I’m disappointed with the goals we conceded, especially as it’s the second game we have been 2-0 up at half-time and gone on to lose.

“However, there were a couple of positives to take, from midfield duo (Christian) N’Guessan and (Mace) Goodridge and also Agyei up top.”

Burnley currently sit fifth in the north group of the Professional Development League.
