COLNE will host Hyde United in the first round qualifying round of the FA Cup after the Reds beat Pickering Town 4-0 on Saturday.

Steve Cunningham's men have made a superb start to the season and sit join top of the Evo-Stik League West with three wins from three games.

Hyde, who were promoted into the Evo-Stik Premier last season, have taken four points from their first three games at that level.

Ramsbottom United and Clitheroe are also still in the cup although both will need to win replays to take their place in the first qualifying round.

Clitheroe drew 6-6 at home to Sunderland RCA on Saturday in a memorable match and the winners of Tuesday's reply in the north east will face either Ossett United or Mossley who replay on the same night following a 2-2 draw.

Mark Fell's Rams are also in replay action on Tuesday against Kidsgrove Athletic after the original tie ended 1-1.

The winners of that match, at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium, will be away to Atherton Collieries - a team the Rams beat 3-1 in the league on Monday.

The winners of first round qualifying ties will earn £6,000 as well as a place in the next round when the National League North and South sides enter, including Chorley.
